Plush Pooch Policies
How To Book
The Plush Pooch Pet Spa is happy to offer online booking through MoeGo! Please note that submitting a booking request does not guarantee you an appointment for the selected day or time. Your request must first be accepted by the staff. Text confirmations will be sent upon acceptance or rejection of booking requests. Alternatively, the Request an Estimate form can be used to set up appointments. The form should be filled out as truthfully and specifically as possible, so that our staff can find the optimal time for your pet. Please note that we highly recommend scheduling senior dogs at earlier spots. That way, we can have them in and out with minimal overlap.

Spa Policies
The Plush Pooch Pet Spa, LLC is a kennel-free facility. As such, prompt pickup is expected, so that the next Plush Pooch can have their treatment session without interruption. Sometimes, however, this is unavoidable and some overlap may occur, so anything we can do to minimize that is ideal. Please note that we are not set up as a dog daycare, and we have neighbors who perform services that require low noise and disturbance. Help us by respectfully adhering to the spa policies, and not leaving your dog at the spa for extended periods of time. Repeated offenses may result in refusal of services.
Additional Fees
If your pet is scheduled for an appointment, he/she is expected to be here at that day & time. Appointment reminders will always be sent in advance, giving ample time for rescheduling or canceling. If we have received no notice of cancellation within 24 hours, a fee of 100% of the total service will be applied to your account and must be paid prior to your next appointment. Repeat offenses could result in prepayment (in full) for future services required before rebooking, or refusal of further service. As outlined in our spa policies, The Plush Pooch Pet Spa depends on your punctuality to operate smoothly. As such, understand that you may be denied service and incur a no-show fee if you are more than 10-15 minutes late. A late fee of $10 may also be added to your pet's invoice.
Release Forms
Every Plush Pooch is required to read and sign our Grooming Services Release Form upon drop-off for their first visit. Additionally, all pets must have a current rabies vaccine or titer. Kennel cough is flexible, but highly recommended and preferred. Current vaccinations from your pet's veterinarian must have a due date clearly visible and can be brought with you to your pup's appointment or emailed to us beforehand. The vaccination records must be renewed at the appropriate date and kept on file by The Plush Pooch, LLC.
Products & Services
At The Plush Pooch Pet Spa, we take pride in offering the highest quality products currently available in the industry. A complete list of products, ingredients, and information can be provided upon client request. The Plush Pooch Pet Spa does not use heated dryers or kennel dryers. Our dryers are high velocity, forced air only. If your dog is sensitive to loud noises, we have smaller, quieter dryers for use, though it may take us a bit longer to complete services. A fluff dryer will be used to finish each pet, provided they are tolerant & relaxed. Happy Hoodies will be used on every pet to help protect their sensitive ears.
Health & Safety
The Plush Pooch Pet Spa, LLC reserves the right to refuse or suspend services including, but not limited to, the following reasons:

the dog has become too agitated to work with safely
the dog is experiencing a medical emergency
the dog is showing signs of aggression
the dog's health is poor
the dog's age
The health & safety of every pet in our care is our priority. Once a session has been suspended, there are no exceptions. You will be asked to reschedule for a later date, or referred to a veterinarian. In the event that your dog is referred out, there may or may not be a balance due, depending on which services were already performed. We respectfully request that you do not book your pet for a service if they are showing visible signs of illness, lethargy, warts/papilloma, excessively runny eyes or noses, a strange cough, open wounds, stitches, staples, signs of parasitic infection, including a positive fecal result, or if your dog is highly aggressive. The Plush Pooch Pet Spa was created to be a comfortable and calm environment. We appreciate your help in achieving our mission!
Respect & Courtesy
The Plush Pooch Pet Spa, LLC reserves the right to refuse service to any person(s) displaying behavior that is disrespectful to staff or to other clients. Under no circumstances will shouting, arguing, or speech deemed to be hateful or offensive ever be tolerated. Failure to adhere to this policy will result in dismissal from the premises. Please keep in mind that our staff works with living, breathing creatures who do not always cooperate as well as we'd like them to. This means that the duration of the session may be a bit longer than anticipated. We kindly ask that you do not inundate us with phone calls or drop-ins. Rest assured, we will notify you at least 10-15 minutes in advance when your pet is ready to be picked up. If you are running late for an appointment, please call us to let us know. This way, we can ensure that you won't be denied service upon arrival, plus we appreciate the courtesy. If you are not going to be able to keep your appointment, please let us know. That way, we can fit another client into your reserved time period. If you're experiencing a legitimate emergency, the no-show fee will be waived.
